We are looking for a Head of Match Making to join our Match Making team! You’ll be helping run one part of Copy Club’s multi-offering business: helping our community land their dream roles.
If you have experience in hiring (internally or for an agency); are energised by chatting to people, are excited about connecting with startup world’s coolest founders, want to be part of a tight knit community working together to support superstar members, and are ready for the next, flexible, step in your career, this is for you! Recruitment experience in some capacity is a must - but it does not need to be explicitly marketing roles.

Our Match Making service aims to help hiring managers find their newest marketing team members, and we support the marketers through the process to successfully land their dream roles. You can hear more about how and why we do Match Making, here.
We have the most dynamic marketeers in our gang, and we know who the super-stars are amongst them. We are stubborn though, that we don’t want to be like typical recruiters. We’ve got experience of how annoying the process can be both for candidates and for hiring managers and we aim to do it differently.
We use WhatsApp to send out live roles to our community every day, and build strong, authentic relationships with our hiring managers AND job hunters, to make sure we know exactly what they’re looking for. We’re looking only to make long lasting, sustainable matches. In building our Match-Making service we’ve thought deeply about how we can do everything in a Copy Club way: warm, welcoming, supportive and flexible.
Head of Match Making 🫡
This is a full time, remote position, starting asap (end of October onwards).
We are looking for someone charismatic, driven and detail oriented to become a team leader for our thriving Match Making business. You’ll need to love chatting to community members one moment, then hitting up the next networking opportunity right after. Ideally you thrive in flexibility, are happy wearing multiple hats, and are great at keeping documentation and trackers up to date as you go! We want someone who can bring a new string to our bow, we make a lot of very happy matches, but we are really looking for someone to supercharge this area of the business and think strategically about growth.
What you’ll be getting up to: 💭
- Joining conversations with hiring managers about the coolest roles in the market, to really understand who they are looking for
- Managing the team day to day and with making the ship run smoothly
- Building relationships with our job searching community members to understand what would make them tick and how they like to work
- Rigorous documentation of the hiring / candidate process so we never drop a single ball
- Managing paperwork, invoices, CVs and specs
- Leading the growth of the department from the front
- Most importantly, making matches! We have ambitious targets and we need someone to make it happen

You’ll need to be…
- Able and excited to chat with people on a daily basis - voice notes, emails, phone calls & zoom
- Willing to sell ice to eskimos. We aren’t on wall street but we do need someone that is street smart, and able to talk with confidence at all levels.
- You know how to recruit but you don’t like how traditional recruitment is done, you’re after something more friendly and more personal.
- A people person- this role will need to manage people as well as work with them, so management experience in some capacity is important (although not essential)
- Keen to learn more about marketing, or have experience in that sphere already.
- Passionate about growth, this role has the ability to get huge, really quickly, so we need someone ready for and excited by this potential.
- Willing to go get new brands to hire with us
This role is open to people who have hired before in some capacity, and we need someone with experience under their belt- that said, if you like the sound of the position but don’t tick all the boxes, please still apply!
What we can give in return 💸
Salary £50-55K (DOE) PLUS a very healthy commission structure
